Happy Friday, here’s what’s going on in Jinja so you can be praying for us:

This week Maike from Germany was in town with her two girls Fina and Mayla. The girls have grown so much. We got to spend an afternoon together. The girls drew me some pictures. I posted some on social media if you’re interested in seeing them, so cute.

We’ve had a lot of rain. Rainy season is right now, we’ve even got some few weeks left. Harriet that helps me, her roof was really leaking and so we sent Grace over to fix it. She told me today that it’s good which is wonderful news. Prayers for those people who still have leaky roofs. Water comes in and people are getting soaked at night.

A big thank you for the donation to get a new sign for the church. That project has started and sounds be done in the next few weeks. I’ll keep you guys updated. Right now it’s just a patch of grass but when there’s something to take a picture of I’ll post it.

The team coming we’ve been praying for them and planning for their arrival in the next couple weeks. I think it’s 25 days left until they come. We’re getting excited and even sent them a wishlist of items we’d love to have, things we cannot get here. We’re getting everything organized and ready to go so that we can bless them as they come to bless us. It will be great to expand the Kingdom with their help.

Also, last night they showed the Jesus Film in Bugembe. I didn’t get to go myself but I heard they had a lot of problems with the power. The power was out and didn’t come back on. The back of system we sent wasn’t working either. They did get it figured out eventually but it meant they were out fairly late. Thank you for praying for that event, it ended up good in the end there was just a lot of pushback. Pushback for getting the Word out in Bugembe. Thank you for keeping that ministry covered in prayer.

Today is Anne’s birthday, if you know her give her a shout out. Happy birthday Anne we love you and we are so thankful that God sent you here.

Easter is coming and as you can see the tents are set up, we just need to add chairs. Good Friday service is today at 5pm and Easter service is Sunday at 930am. Help us to focus on the Lord and the sacrifice he made for us guaranteeing our eternity is spent with God.
