Fennel and oregano hold up well to the Dijon and apple cider vinegar, and it all gets smoothed out with some real maple syrup. Great for a marinade or salad dressing, I even used it as a gravy.

Maple Dijon Marinade

4 clove garlic

1/2t        fennel seeds

1/2t        oregano

1/3c       real maple syrup

1/4c       apple cider vinegar

3T           Dijon mustard

1/2t        salt

1/2t        pepper

In a food processor or blender, add 4 cloves garlic, 1/2t fennel seeds, 1/2t oregano, 1/3c real maple syrup, 1/4c apple cider vinegar, 3T Dijon mustard, 1/2t salt, and 1/2t pepper. Pulse until the sauce is smooth.

Can be used as a marinade, 30 minutes up to overnight, salad dressing, or I even used it as gravy on Andrea’s Maple Dijon Turkey.

Keeps in refrigerator up to 1 week.

Makes about 1 cup.
