Hi! I’m Deb, life’s an adventure and I invite you to join me as Now Deb…

“I just want to share the joy I have with those around me, as they come to know Christ or to know Him better. I believe people can have peace, joy, and purpose; and this is accomplished through Jesus Christ.”

In March of 2015, I began my missionary journey serving in Ciudad Juarez, Mexico, at the ministry of Amigo Fiel. I served the Kingdom in a variety of ways: electronic media, helping at the food bank, with the kids, accounting, prayer, even photography, videography, painting, discipling, driving… all with the goal of pointing people to Jesus Christ. God used this time as preparation for what is to come. And I assure you I am using all I learned there to serve Christ in Africa.

Currently, I am running a School of Ministry and Worship at Called Christians in Jinja, Uganda. Helping to make disciples that can make disciples. It is challenging and rewarding at the same time. And I am still learning every day.

I invite you to follow along as I share about what God is doing in and through us as we step out in faith to serve in the Kingdom.

I have enjoyed cooking (eating!) my whole life. I started blogging to share my love of cooking with all who want to eat well. Following a clean eating philosophy, focusing on real food, done well. If you like big piles of meat, my recipes may not be for you. I sometimes put meat in my dishes but I am constantly trying to eat more vegetables. Sharing recipes using whole, real food to fuel your body. #letseatin

I have written a cookbook titled, “Much Love (Mexico) a baking journey to share the love of Christ.” Sharing 12 delicious sweets I made while discipling women in Mexico along with 12 short stories about my time there. Using coffee and delicious baked goods to show the love of Christ! So encouraging that God equips us each differently and uses things like coffee and banana bread to expand the Kingdom.
