Local classes next year, campus tour (video), Spev, pastors conference…#success #motivation #schoolsover #campustour #freeclasses #jinjacity #hupsosuganda #celebration #lookatthepretties #teacher #jesuschristIt’s a beautiful afternoon in Jinja. I thought I would walk you around and look at some things while I’m chatting this week (see video link at bottom). For the last couple weeks we’ve been studying as a staff a book called, 10 words. Which is about the ten commandments. We’re on number three this week, you shall not take the Lord’s name in vain. It was a whopper of a chapter, oh my goodness. It’s been a great book so far. If you’re looking for a study it’s called 10 Words This week, although it seems like a long time ago, the school of ministry completed. Last Saturday we did a quick class on the difference between morals and ethics. And living a life for Christ in an ethical way. We also did a little exit interview with the students when they were all done with their tests. Then we celebrated with the church on Sunday: had some cake, a photo booth, it was a good time. Then we had a small ceremony the next day and went out to eat. We celebrated what Christ had done in and through us over the last year. We all shared some stories about Christ. Now all the students are at home, back in their village. They’ve all made it safely home. I’m sure thankful for this class, they are a nice group of people.We also held our last teachers meeting and closed out the school year. Then we talked about the touching school year because education in 25/26 school year is going to look a little different for us. We’re not going to be bringing people in from outside. We’re going to be offering classes to local people. So be on the lookout for that class list if you’re around jinja. We’ll be taking a survey Sunday at church, come on out to The Bridge Calvary Chapel (plot 45 Bell Avenue). Please share your ideas and opinions, we’d love to hear them as we get ready to offer education about Jesus Christ to our neighbors. Besides that, I’ve spent the week getting ready for the pastor’s conference. That’s about a week away, nine days, I think. Then the pastor’s conference is here 😃And I’ve spent some time with Spev this week, prayers for her please.
