So thankful for all the donations to move the library. If you watch the video you will see the library wall has been constructed. That’s speedy work. The door still needs hung and it still needs paint. But the basic construction is done. Pretty amazing, right. It should be finished in the next few days and then we will stock it. We have some books but as any book lover knows, there’s always room for more.

If you have a favorite book you want to donate we would love help populating the library. You could make a donation and then please leave a note what book you suggest.

This week we’ve been getting ready for students to come and there are two students here already. They arrived about 5 minutes ago from Tororo.

We also looked at finances this week. It takes about $1,135 US dollars for each student to attend the 10 month program. That’s about 113.50 per month per student. Are you interested in sponsoring a student on their journey to know God better, to learn how to apply the Word to themselves, to divide the Word correctly and then teach others to do the same? Click this link to donate (select Deborah Roberts Uganda SOM from the drop-down). We have 15 students and I will be sharing their stories over the next few months. I’m excited to share our journey with you.

We did one more fun thing this week. We have a leadership meeting every Friday morning to try to become better leaders. We talked about the health of our team and how we can be healthier and stronger as a team. We agreed that once a month we would eat together as a staff. We did that this week and it was a good time. Looking forward to doing that next month. Do you do anything like this with your team?

There is a care team meeting Saturday 8am mountain time. If you did not get the email invitation please reach out to me. That means I don’t know you want to be part of the team. I’m looking forward to seeing all your faces and hearing your voices.
